CB Antenna mount for a TJ

    2.5” lift 32x1.50x15,cold air intake, Smittybuilt stainless steel Bumpers, rough county pocket flares,Rugged ridge seat covers and floor mats.
    Ok guys give me some ideas to
    Where I can mount a CB antenna
    I have pipe Bumpers. But I would like to mount it some where around the Spare tire any ideas

    Stock spare tire mount???

    You could do something like this but you'll need wheels with a 3.75" backspacing

    Problem with that mount is unless your willing to sand down the paint/powdercoat on the bumper and mount you won't get a good ground. You must have a good clean metal to metal ground in order to get the SWR's as low as possible. Guess you could figure out how to run a braided ground strap from the antenna mount back to the body/frame with clean mounting spots.

    Taillight mount would be one of the better options.
