I have a 2011 Grand Cherokee limited 3.6l 4x4. Started having problems with dead battery. Replaced alternator and battery. Not long after same problem. Shop said alternator was bad and replaced it again along with ground strap. Also had the fuel relay bypass done. Still the same thing. Come out in the morning it might be dead or it might just stall going down the road. Then it started something new. All these symptoms would go off at the same time, wiper would just randomly go off the red lighting bolt would start flashing and then start running rough then it would just die. Wouldn’t start back up until I unhooked batter and left it for a while. I sent the TIPM in and it passed along with all of the fuses and relays. I had the throttle body and sensors checked they was all good. All grounds seem to be clean and attached good. I found a fuse under the + jump start post and it was good. Used a code reader and multi tool to check voltage. Engine off it reads 12.7. Engine running it reads 12.2 to 11.8 everywhere I could check it. The only other things I can think of would be the PCM or voltage regulator? I’m just not sure i’m definitely not a mechanic. There is no stored codes or active dash lights. Is there a way to check the PCM without sending it off?
