If I put the transmission(th400) in park the yokes on the transfer case (quardatract) lock. When i shift to neutral I can spin them. Once the drive shafts are installed and in park I can roll the jeep where ever like its not in park. Everything i research says the parking paw but it works untill its connected to the axels. So I think its in the diffs. Any ideas? Thanks.

Start looking at the easiest fix like the shift linkage at the transmission.

Removed the links from the trans and moved it by hand to find park. Im gonna pull the tub and see if there is someone local to me that can dyno test a trans before i go pullin the trans apart.

I have heard of guys using vise grips as a handle.
