2.5” lift 32x11.50x15,cold air intake, Smittybuilt stainless steel Bumpers, rough county pocket flares,Rugged ridge seat covers and floor mats. Conversion LED headlights 20’ LED Light bar hardtop, soft top, bikini top.
What Does the P0456 Code Mean?
The P0456 is a generic code stating that the Engine Control Module (ECM) detected a small leak from the evaporative system. This leak was detected during a self-test. For the code to come on, the test must fail two times in a row before the Check Engine Light comes on.

Will the gas mileage also go down? Was getting 23 mpg now 17.
I had the code cleared so I could remotely start my jeep, but I know I need to get it fixed.

In addition to post #2 try some inexpensive steps: inspect your gas cap, tighten firmly with a few more clicks each fillup, clean gas cap gasket and filler neck with some WD40 on a rag, replace with new OEM cap. If you're lucky PO456 could be triggered by a loose or loose fitting gas cap.
p.s. many auto parts store can read/clear the code temporarily until problem is resolved

That’s too bad as a new OEM gas cap resolved a similar code on my old Avalon
