    I have a 94 grand cherokee 4x4 with the 5.2l engine. I get the death wobble at around 35 mph and up. But if i tie a strap to the passenger side of the axle and tie it tight to the drivers side of the frame it goes away. What would cause this??

    Welcome @1983georgiatek not too surprising on an older jeep to have some worn suspension parts. Your "fix" may be a clue about one of the common issues. Start by inspecting the TB bushing/bolt torque/elongated bolt hole.

    I would suggest first considering the tie rod and drag link ends, they can be tested by squeezing them up and down with a pair of channel locks. There has to be a YouTube video on that!. Another thing would be the ball joints, there should be no play in them when you wobble the front wheels back and forth.

    Welcome to the forum @1983georgiatek . Zip ties are not a recommended fix for your issue. :rolleyes:. There's numerous threads here concerning this issue. But it seems everyone has their own fix for it.
    99.99 0/0 of the time. It's an issue with worn bushings and / or tightin torques.
    I'd inspect all frontend bushings and bolts. Gotta be an issue somewhere. Most likely.. several issues.
    Have fun. :popcorn::coffee:.
