Electrical stops working after heavy rain

    My 2001 Jeep Wrangler head lights, indicators and wipers stop working when it rains heavy.

    Y would this be.

    Welcome @H2o ....good to have a connection (rain) which would lead one to check for good connections at the battery, chassis-to-ground etc. Consider using some dielectric grease to protect connections against salt, dirt, corrosion etc

    My opinion would be the electrical plugs to the headlights themselves, like adding a little dielectric grease to those. But since they both go out at the same time there might be a plug further down the line that has access to a water splash that could use a little dielectric also. The headlight ground connection to the chassis could also be at fault. On my CJ, I run that line all the way to the battery negative. This poor connection can have an effect on the longevity of the headlights operation. Pretty much what aggrex stated.
