Yesterday I was stuck behind a parade and my jeep overheated, I replaced the radiator, which was clogged and also the relay under the passenger headlight. I went to start it and it cranks but won't turn over. Everything is turning and what not. What could it be?

If you have the inline 6 it is the 0331 head which is prone to cracking. So likely cracked and possibly warped head and a blown head gasket.
Have you checked the oil to see if there is any coolant mix in it?

I would imagine it would have to be pretty severe for it to not start however with no oil/coolant intermix I would lean towards something else causing the no start issue.

I would run a compression test on it though as there is a good likely hood of a cracked/warped head and blown head gasket. And if so, fix it and then address the no start issue. It is not a hard job, would be a good learning experience if you have never done it before. The head is pretty heavy so you might want help lifting it off.

    I am confused - happens alot :)

You turn key engine spins? that is cranking
you turn key engine spins? that is defined as turning over.

So the engine spins but will not START - am I correct? thats a NO START condition.

    Then I would get codes.
check engine oil as suggested looking for evidence of coolant, Next will be BASICS.

    Is there spark?
    Is there fuel?

So I had a mechanic come and the motor is blown and cracked head and other things. She is on her way to Harry's. All started with the blown fan relay, I didn' repair it fast enough.

Too funny. Me too. Especially that temp gauge. It was always climbing until I replaced the Radiator. Now I watch out of habit.
