    Hi everyone...new to the Forum. My question is not a major one but just out of curiosity. Do fender flare extensions on the side of a vehicle help with preventing mud, and water from splashing up on the door and window? Thanks for your answers.

    These should reduce the mud/water slash on the door/body. Not everybody’s cup of tea but you do you. Jeep on

    Thanks JKBob...what I was curious about are the 6 inch extensions that are attached below the door on the side wall. Not sure if I like the mud guards. But I appreciate your answer...
