    2002 Red TJ
For sale, a 2002 Jeep wrangler sport in fire red (PR4)

Listing my Wrangler Sport for sale in Sussex County NJ. It comes with a OEM soft top only. Automatic with inline 6. Approximately 187,000 miles. Running well.

    The Good:

Transmission replaced with OEM brand new unit in December 2023. Driven approximately 12,000 miles.

    Spider gears replaced.

    General grabber tires from 2022.

Frame repaired and coated by Ozcar Automative in Kenilworth.

    New brakes installed May 2025.

New shocks and struts installed May 2021.

Pioneer Apple CarPlay/Android Auto touch screen head unit, upgraded speakers and subwoofer.

All carpeting and floor mats have been replaced.

    The bad:

Needs a new neutral safety switch, sometimes needs to be started in neutral
Squeaking noise while driving, coming from front passenger side, cause unknown.
Ignition cylinder loose - key can be removed while running

    The ugly:

Medium sized crack in windshield. Passenger side fender rusted and not color matched. Small amount of rust on driver side fender. Driver seat fabric has rips and tears. Rear seat missing a bolt. Driver side door handle very difficult to open and needs to be replaced. Aftermarket dash kit for touchscreen radio is loose because dashboard attaching clips were broken.

This is a great TJ for someone who can do moderate mechanic work themselves - the engine is running great and the transmission is new, as well as most major issues. We unfortunately did not know what to look for and we did many, many repairs. I can provide a history upon request.
