    2018 grand cherokee
    my 2018 gc rear gate was damaged found a used 1 from a 2019 gc same color as mine so just a swap but is says rear wiring is different between the 2 years does any one know if this is true thanks jeff

    Welcome @scenerymover ...I don't own a JGC but if the rear gate fits I would proceed with the installation. The basic rear gate usually has rr defroster, license plate lights, wiper so you should be able to splice onto the wires if the connectors are different.
