Grnd Cherokee 2011 - "Battery Light" still coming "on" after new battery installed

    Grnd Cherokee - 2011 - Replaced the original battery - after "battery light" went on, yesterday! ...
    After driving for a while, "light" still coming on....
    Any "suggestion," ... anyone?

    Inspect your battery cables, clean the terminals and clamps, replace if badly corroded. Ground wires (usually more than one) can be corroded as in the picture.
