Greengo's heat is not working.... I verified that the a/c on/off switch works so it is not stuck in a/c mode. It seems as though the temp knob doesn't do anything.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks and Happy New Year!

Might try a complete coolant flush if the prior owner did not maintain the system. This could confirm whether there is a heater core issue.

Thanks for the advice guys. It turns out it was the blend door actuator. I found a Youtube video that helped a lot. One problem I had was the floor vent. I never got it out.... half came out but I couldn't get the other half to slip out of the mounting. Anyway, I got to the point where I thought the hell with it and decided to twist and pull until something gave way... and I found that I could twist and pull it enough to get the end out of the dash. Then I wired it to the steering wheel to hold it out of the way while changing out the actuator. It would have been easier with that piece out but I managed. One thing that pisses me off is that someone knew it was bad and instead of replacing it for $30 they went in and unplugged the old one. Yes, we are in southern Arizona but it still gets cold in the mornings. Our 6:00AM temp has been in the mid to upper 30s a lot recently.
