I own used 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. The vin build sheet from the factory said it had cloth seats but the front and back are black leather. I recently had to take the driver front seat out to fix and issue. When I took the bolts out they were very tight and still with the blue lock right. I think they are original. Anyway. I had to get under the seat to disconnect all the cords which leads me to my question. When I disconnected the cords I knew the seat had the pins for the OEM heater elements for cushion and back. However the instrument cluster does not come with the driver and passenger heater seat switches. So I ordered a new OEM switch off the internet. I verified the original which controlled the three prong plug, hazards, hill assist climb, and traction control was a male four pin plus the new switch withe all of the above mentioned controls plus the driver and passenger heat control is also a 4 pin. So the same connection in the same areas.

However, once I hooked everything up, turned on the key and started the car my plug n play expirement did not turn on the switch nor warm the cushion or my back.

So My thought is that I need to flash the brain to unlock and turn this feature on. Can someone validate I am correct?
