I'm Tom from Frederick, and am relatively new to Jeeps, certainly to the Gladiator. I remember the old version of the vehicle but don't remember what it was called in those days.

I am an USAF veteran spending most of my time in Kansas with thermo-nuclear weapons prepared and ready to demolish key targets in the USSR, China and North Korea (although I can't be any more specific about targets).

Since leaving the USAF I am an electrical engineer and consultant to NASA specifically providing support to mission assurqance and design of spacecraft and instruments. I've driven all sorts of vehicles, foreign and domestic road slugs and sports cars. I also have been an avid cyclist since about 1965 (I'm 69 yrs old). I'm married and have two grown children and 5 grandchildren.

Glad to be here and have lots of questions that I'm sure many of you guys can answer.

    Thanks for all the welcomes!
One of my first questions (due the gas guzzling), on my last jeep I had as jerry can mount4d on the back. The JT however does not offer a similar location if I want to lower the tailgate. Where is a good place to locate a jerry can (or two)?

Thanks, and I'll surely have a lot more questions in the future.

Check out MORryde products. Designed by a jeep enthusiast for jeeps. JTs might be able to use a few things that have been designed for the JLs
