help I don’t know where this nut came from !
My S Reg wrangler was placed on a trailer to have a new exhaust system fitted and towed there and back. Once we got her home we noticed this odd nut underneath the steering column of the car on the floor of the trailer. Being the only mechanic of the family I left my dad to it, however this is our first wrangler and he has never come across anything like this before. So we were just wandering if this is a unique wrangler nut and is a point of concern or is simply a random nut off of the trailer as we are hoping for. 440166C4-DC1D-4D59-A727-55C178137117.jpg

Not sure that nut can simply fall off without noticing. Kinda looks like a nut for steering.

Might attach onto a shaft of some sort, probably with holes that line up with the cut outs in the nut for a cotter pin. Wheel hub/axle shaft or for shock/strut
