Hey everyone! I’m from Tampa FL and have owned my 06 TJ for a few years, I have become somewhat familiar with a few of the Jeep shops in the Bay Area but wanted to join this community for some extra support.

Right now my Jeep is at a shop and I’ve been told that I’ve got a bent valve and push rod in one of my cylinders. I’ve already poured a lot of money into fixing problems with this motor and I doubt that those are the only issues.

I have about 5k saved up and I could just rebuild this motor but I’m considering saving more and just upgrading my engine and transmission, but I’m skeptical with this mechanic. I’ve been around town to a few Jeep places, Just Jeeps as well as Jeepsters are a few shops, but I’m looking for a place in the Tampa or mid Florida area that does this type of work.

Anyone in the area that could give some support would be appreciated.
Thanks and I look forward to sharing and learning from the community.
