    2010 Jeep Wrangler
Hi there. I'm new to the group. I've got a 2010 Jeep Wrangler four-door and I'm having a very weird issue that I'm hoping someone can help with. My jeep has started to beep, one short horn beep when I open the door. My jeep has no power anything. No power locks, power windows or alarm system. I have no idea why or how the horn would beep when I open the door. It happens both when I press the button to open the door from the outside and when I open it using the door handle on the inside, going through the open window. It will usually happen when it sits for a little while. I can't seem to figure out where there would be wiring connected, especially since the doors can come off. Anyone else experience this?? Thanks!

Although your Jeep is basic without powered devices opening the door may trigger interior lights. Somewhere there might be a short or break in the wires. Electrical gremlins can be frustrating but you should do a thorough search before giving up.
