How long for rear differential to be fixed?

    just took my Jeep in to get serviced and they think something is wrong with my rear differential. Anyone know how long this can take to be fixed?

    IMO anything to do with rear ends will take specialized tools, trained tech and time (don't insist on a rush job). Factor in special order replacement parts and a follow-up visit. Interested in knowing what's wrong with the rear diff and the issues that clued you like whine, bangs or clicks etc.
