How to get rid of body lift?

    Want to get rid of body lifts..What do I need and how do I do it? Are there factory lifts I need to replace these with..Thanks..

    If you have more than a 1" body lift, there is probably quite a bit. Everything between the frame and body has been moved. It also depends on how well the body lift operation was done. Like the radiator might need moving and recentering after you lower the body down. There might have been a spacer installed in the steering shaft area. The brake line hold down clamps will need to be loosened. The clutch might need readjusting. Fuel filler hoses will need to be reset. On my CJ, I really like a 1" lift as it makes it easier to wash mud out from underneath.
