Jeep cranks and idles fine. Put it in drive and and take off and then radomly dies and is hard to crank back. Fuel pump was replaced in March after purchasing Jeep. New fuel filter. Good pressure at the rail. New TPS. Proper voltage at map sensor. It’s dying as if it’s losing voltage because the lights blink. I’m stumped

wHAT LIGHTS BLINK - body or dash?
1996 GOOD have a good diagnostics on board.
So step 1 Always is to SCAN and post ALL codes...

good voltage at MAP - what is that? referance? signal? ground( good no stray V)?
    Fuel pressure is PSI?

Lets try this As someone tries to start jeep spray some starter fluid or carb cleaner into TB - did it 'hit' try to start or run on the spray ?
