I made a little comparison between the Latency of an LED bulb, provided by deAutoLED, and an OEM 3157 bulb. A friend of mine took the video in slow motion, but for some reason it didn't upload in HD. Still, you can tell which bulb provides full illumination first.

In "real Time", the delay is noticeable to the eye, but you cant really tell any delay is even there, until you have an LED bulb "side by side" to compare. In the video, you can see the OEM bulb "warming" up, while the LED is at full illumination.

Thats a great safety upgrade for the Jeep or any vehicle. Caught my eye how fast Cadillac or Audi LED tail lights lit up years ago when LED was found only on the upper end models.

Nice job on the side by side comparison.

Now I gotta add LED tail lights to my never ending Jeep Purchases List. Thanks Chris! :)

If you like the look of the stock tail lights then all you need are the LED bulbs.

@************* is a vendor on the site, and they mentioned that they will be offering discounts to us. This is my Jeep with their bulbs in the OEM housing:
