That is likely the throttle body.

PLEASE let us help you. describe the issue AND if known what codes is system showing.

The people at part stores are there to SELL parts yes they will assist with codes but I must mention a code does NOT condemn a part - the part it indicates is often just the messenger.

EXAMPLE - fuel sensor - indicates low fuel - would you first replace sensor?

My jeep is throwing a code for the 02 sensor, I know that but I was asking only because when I got to start my jeep it takes like 2 or 3 times for it to turn over. I thought it might be the clean air resonator.

Do you mean it has to crank over 2 or 3 times before it will finally fire up or do you have to turn the key 2 or 3 times before it will do anything?

If it doesn't do ANYTHING the first couple of key turns you might try putting it in Neutral first and see if that helps. If it does you might look at cleaning the Neutral Safety Switch (NSS), you can replace them but a lot of the times just cleaning and re-greasing it can help.....if you can get it off without breaking it.
If it is doing something, just not starting that could be a completely different issue.

2 if it's a federal emissions engine (one in the down pipe, one after the catalytic converter), 4 if is a California emissions engine (2 in each down pipe before the catalytic converters, and 2 after).
