    Purchased this year in Jan.
    Sept build 2018 JLU Rubicon.
Traded my 2016 Dodge Challenger, Scat Pack Shaker.

Long time Toyota Tacoma owner that needed something a bit more "utilitarian" because the folks are getting up in age and live 600 miles away. The prerunner and the Scat Pack weren't cutting it for winter driving.

Glad to be a part of the community!

    Richard.

Welcome @Matic ...big sacrifice in speed+power but you picked the right adventure vehicle with a huge aftermarket support system. Looks great.

Welcome to the forum @Matic . Any plans for upgrades? Numerous manufactures are rapidly coming out with everything from lift kits to exhaust kits rather quickly. Just curious as to what they come out with next.

    Thank you.
Nothing short term. Sometime next year I'll be doing the dynatrac enduroSport lift and 37's.
I'll probably upgrade rims since the stock wheels won't work without spacers but I think I'm one of the very few that really likes the look of the stock wheels.

I like the stock wheels also. I'm still learning the JL. If you install a lift. You'd still have to install spacers? Why can't you use stock wheels with spacers? 37s? You also have a gear swap in the plans? I'm sittin on 35s now. But I want 37s. Just scared I'm gonna start blowing shit up. Ya know. What gears you you running?

No spacers with stock wheels and 35's.
Only 37's need spacers with factory rims on the Rubicon.
They will actually fit 37's with no lift, but there is some rubbing naturally.
    35's no lift, no rub.
4.10s factory on the Rubicon so no plans to regear.
My buddy has been running 37's for about a year and zero issues with his.

I'm sure a quality set of spacers will be fine. I see dozens of people use them. I've just always been for getting wheels with proper offset/back spacing.

Plus the 3rd gen Dana 44's have beefier tubes so there's less strain both front and rear.

Awesome Rich @Matic. Thank you for info. I don't have a Rubi. And my JK is running 3.73 gears, sittin on 35s. I think I'd be pushing it with 37s without regearing. But my next big upgrade is just that. 4.10s and 37s.

If your build is in line with your buddy's. It's gonna be a sweet JLU. I'm subbed.
