    My wife thought he was a sweetheart. Despite having an illness and not wanting to shake hands, he put his arm around her for a picture. She adored him.

    I was not a fan of the show either especially at that age . It was simply a prime time soap opera drama for the sake of drama has never been my cup of tea .

    Me neither but she got me hooked. We would go out to eat after work, have a few drinks, come home and fire up the good old VCR (you youngins know what a VCR is??) and watch JR screw somebody out of something.....LOL

    Years later we moved to Dallas and the first thing we did was drive out to Southfork Ranch.....
