I’m excited to be a part of this forum. We have had this 73 CJ5 in the family since it was purchased brand new in Tucson ,AZ. My wife’s grandfather purchased it when they moved from Illinois. My wife drove it while in high school as did my oldest son. It’s now my 16 year old daughter turn to learn to drive manual 3 speed. It’s been in storage the last 2 years and when running the valves are sticking and making a clicking sound. What are my options for resolving this issue?

    Welcome @NWF
An old trick is adding some ATF before a complete oil/filter change to see if that loosens things up. Short of that remove the valve covers to see what’s gummed up then take it from there.
