Normal oil gauge movements? Am I paranoid? 93 5.2 zj

    When it dips down the idle gets a tad rough. Idles like that all the time tho. Sorta rough but not noisy rough. Like hiccups in timing. Changed plugs/wires, distributor and rotar. Maybe oil sending unit ? Or fuel deliv issue? Any ideas would be great! Also I thought I had heard or read something about the idle on these being around 500. This seems to idle really low idk. Maybe I'm just paranoid

    I use to get paranoid when I smoked.....hmmmm. :humble::rasta:. Yeah.....your being paranoid.
    Normal oil pressure at running speeds. 40 psi. Sitting at a stop light. It will drop to 10 or there abouts. Your good dude.
    Although I would be concerned bout the hiccups and rough idle. Oil pressure is oil pump. So there could be other issues involved here. Rough idle....numerous possible issues.
    Im sure more knowledgeable members will jump on. Sit tight......

    Oil pressure in the video seems fine. The rough/low idle is likely your issue which can affect the oil pressure you read on the gauge.

    Any leads to what various things cause rough idles so I can make a sort of check list?
