I have a 1989 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. So this Jeep has built in Spotlights in the front window. (like in police cars) anyway the previous owner said that only 10 of the YJ's came out of the factory with the spot lights built in. But I can't find anything about it. can anyone help me verify this?

Welcome @Ajwalk3r ! Perhaps they were special police rigs. Dug out my mint condition The Jeep Book 1989 and aside from all the awesome available jeeps at that time there was no info on spot lights. Took a few pics to share. Enjoy

Wow @aggrex. I'm impressed. Not just the work and effort you would go thru to help a member. But to pull out a publication that dates you. Very impressive.:D.

In the 88-90 Mopar parts catalog I see no mention of a spot lamp, however military blackout lamps were available.
    Here's a good resource for some parts/service manuals. https://xjjeeps.com/
