My wife's Buick Encore has a very large "cave" under the back edge of the hood and it's bad about collecting stuff so I know how you feel.
I haven't seen anything to prevent this.

    Welcome from Oklahoma.

Welcome @meliss501 ...having that mess of leaves and twigs in that area would be annoying. Over a period of time the debris could cause problems. A cordless leaf blower can quickly clear the area. Don't think there is a product marketed specifically to block the collection of twigs and leaves. Perhaps a small section of tarp laid across the area held down by the wipers? Just have to remove the tarp before driving...just a thought

Typically it's called a cowl and the vents right there is where the air is drawn in for the a/c and heater.

    this stresses you out?

As mentioned a leaf blower, maybe an air compressor for your shop.
I don't own a Cherokee - what is leaf/debris status after going thru car wash - if it gets blown away get a multi visit coupon..
Be sure to learn how to change cabin air filter.
