    Hi all,

Signed up on the forums for some advice on a strong potential new Jeep Cherokee.

I'm not quite at an "enthusiast" level, but I do enjoy tinkering and modding and have done so quite extensively with past cars.

Currently I'm driving a 2000 Nissan Xterra, but please don't hold that against me. ;)

I was born and raised in California but moved to Idaho 10 years ago. I enjoy water sports, off-road activities, and back scratches.

I hope that's good for an intro - see you around the forums!

    Brian

Welcome @5FingerFruitPunch...the Xterras are cool 4WD vehicles that can be built nice too.

$2k three years ago for that Xterra, I couldn't pass it up. Unfortunately, though, it's only RWD. It's got steering and transmission issues now, and according to the car sites it's value is about $100-$250 haha. I think it's time to upgrade. ;)

Barring a family of weasels living in the transmission case or anything, I'm pretty sure I will be a 1st time Jeep owner this evening!
