I have zero knowledge about this, and am looking for recommendations for a relatively simple, “inexpensive” solution for my 2021 (JL) Unlimited Sahara Altitude. My bumper has (white) LED fog lights. My headlights are factory standard (kinda dim yellow), not LED. Can I replace just the bulbs with LEDs or do I need to replace the actual headlight assemblies? Of either one, which type/brand would you suggest? TIA

Generally it could be hit or miss when replacing the halogen bulb to LED in a standard headlamp. If the optics are not optimized for LEDs the result could be poor performance, glare and blinding others on the road etc. I'd recommend buying replacement LED head lights and read up on aiming the head lights. To learn more about LED replacement head lights check out the offerings at Quadratec.com for one example. They have a range of brands and quality to consider. Post up your decision

The globe the bulb is in often has more impact on the light then the bulb other then the color. Depending on the price point your looking at, I prefer KC Lites but that's just my brand preference. Some have been able to switch the bulb only but it will require adjusting the headlight with varying degrees of success. If you want to change just the bulbs, do your research first.

I again agree 100% with @aggrex , it's probably worth saving for the full headlight assembly and make sure it's a reputable vendor.

    Good luck
