    Summary

To change the headlight assembly on a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, follow these steps:

    1. Prepare the Vehicle

    • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is off.
    • Disconnect the battery to avoid any electrical issues.
    2. Remove the Old Assembly

    • Locate the screws or clips securing the headlight assembly.
    • Carefully remove these fasteners using a screwdriver or appropriate tool.
    • Gently pull the headlight assembly out from the front of the vehicle.
    3. Disconnect Wiring

    • Unplug the wiring harness connected to the back of the headlight assembly.
    • If applicable, remove the bulb from the old assembly.
    4. Install the New Assembly

    • Connect the wiring harness to the new headlight assembly.
    • Insert the new assembly into the housing and secure it with screws or clips.
    5. Reconnect the Battery

    • Once everything is secured, reconnect the battery.
    • Test the new headlight to ensure it functions properly.
