Got a 88 Jeep Wrangler 4.2 il6. Been sitting 3-4 yrs, tried to start Mon, and it acted like a few valves stuck, Took valve cover off today, 4 stuck valves, then noticed push rods off and bent. Got 3 valves to seat still 1, no go,pour penetrating solution around stem, get new push rods?

    Welcome from Oklahoma.

Thankfully I have never had to deal with this, but I think I would be looking at a reman head with valves ($300) and new pushrods.

I agree. If you have stuck valves it’s probably because they are bent. I would pull the head and check the pistons. Sounds like it hydrolocked at some point.
