Some of you may have seen my build thread for my new (old) 2003 Jeep TJ - 2003 Black Wrangler X - Texas Jeep

I have been sitting here tonight planning out some of my build and given that engine work and brake work is planned for the next week or two, along with fluids flushed from every Jeep orifice, I thought I should start thinking about the lift I will use.

You may not know, but I run an e-commerce store The 4x4 Guys and can get many brands of lifts, even if you don't see them in the store, we can get many other brands. The only brands we can't get are those that only sell to installation shops. In any case, I want a decent 3" lift kit that includes, coils, shocks, sway bar links, etc.

I'm not looking for a bargain basement brand that I will regret in a month, nor am I looking for a break the bank long arm kit. But I am looking for suggestions and recommendations. I've only used the Mopar 2" lift on my JLUR, so I've not actually used some of the brands that you guys might suggest. I'm open to your thoughts.

It’s expensive but the best LA lift for the TJ is rock krawler and they make a 3.5 in lift. I also like teraflex and metal cloak.

I'd have to borrow money from my Uncle Warren (Buffett) of course, to put a long arm Rock Krawler kit on....LOL. I'm still on the lookout for a good package.

Is transAmerica one of your distributors/wholesalers? If so, Look into Rubicon express. They own it and should give you a good discount on it because of that. I here lots of good about RE lifts.

I do work with Trans, I'll have to look closer a RE too, I forgot about them.

Hard to say. It depends on what is included and what is needed as a result of the lift. If I say $2500, but then determine that I need a SYE, double cardan driveshafts AND front and read adjustable track bars, then I really said over $4k.

I know you are looking for a kit.......but I am going to recommend you check out https://www.ironman4x4fab.com/
Super beefy and great customer service.
You would have to buy the coils, brake lines, and sway bar disconnects separately.
I run Rubicon Express 4.5" coils on my XJ with a plethora of Ironman suspension and steering components.
