I have a ‘92 Wrangler 5 speed and the speedo is completely erratic. It usually doesn’t work until I get into 2nd or 3rd gear other times it’ll sit around 10mph. Other times it’ll be correct then it’ll jump up to 65-80mph when I’m clearly not going anywhere near that fast. The tcase was leaking on the sensor but I resealed it and cleaned all the components and it’s still acting crazy. Any ideas on what to check or change would be appreciated.

Is it a cable driven or electric?

Replace the speedo cable and use the speedo cable lubricant.
