I’m putting on all new skyjacker shocks on my 98 xj. Should I replace the steering stabilizer also ???

3 inch zone lift. Fox 2.0 shocks. 35 inch nitto ridge grapplers. Bushwacker flat fenders. No name steel bumpers front and back for now.
I would only because you're buying all new shocks anyways. Might as well spend a little extra cash and update that one too. Its entirely up to you tho.

Welcome! I concur with boondoc89's suggestion or the steering stabilizer can be upgraded later. If it ain't leaking or making noises it may have some life left. Make the decision based off the age of the unit, how it's steering or your pocket.

I opened this thread expecting to see a, "I've got death wobble because my steering stabilizer is bad"....

But sure if you are going bigger tires and already buying new shocks you could get a new steering stabilizer to help control the bump steer of the larger tires.
