Sorry dude. I don't get jiggly with it. I have to draw a line sometime where. My jiggly is broken. On the DL for a month or so...I'll get back at ya.. lolll. And BTW. Not really a jiggly kinda guy. That's why I spend so much time in the gym.

Sorry to hear you may have a jiggly issue. Walk more. Walking works wonders on jiggly body issues. Just saying. Lolll.

Front/Rear bumpers, 10k Smittybilt Winch, Bussman Auxiliary Power Panel, Joying Android Stereo, Cibie H4 Headlight Upgrade, 50” Lightbar. Planning: 2.5” TeraflexLift, 35” KO2’s, Regear from 3.21 to 4.56’s
Spent a couple hours cutting and fitting for a rear trunk. Needs a little more trimming and it will be ready for carpet. Couldn’t work outside to long with all the fires around the whole breathing thing became an issue. The plan is for the trunk to be installed all the time it sits inside the tub and utilizes the same holes as the hardtop.

It is a lot of hand trimming with trial and error but I think that the outdoor carpet will cover up the imperfections. I spanned the tub rails with some 1” channel and plan to attach the deck using some 1/4-20 t-nuts in the plywood under the carpet.

Just an opinion but for exposure to the elements would something like truck liner be easier to maintain / keep clean?

Ive had really good luck with wood treated with a sealant, or polyurethane lasting along time. Made a table that's outside 24/7, and it has been good for many years now.

I was kicking around the idea of sealing it before adding the carpet. The carpet is outdoor rated and comes with a 4yr fade resistant warranty. Figure it is worth a try and will hopefully look Pretty factory when done.

I would throw a polyurethane clear coat on it first. Then put the carpet over. That out door carpet still allows moisture to get on the wood.

Definitely. I've done a deck or two, and picnic tables etc... Polyurethane is the way to go.

Nice work Brian. Looks pretty cool. I'm subbed....

Does that just brush on? I went back on shift at work so I don’t think I will get much time to work on it until next Thursday but I can round up the clear coat and maybe get the t-nuts installed
