First Jeep. 2002 X. Are either of these normal?

Them wires don't look "normal". Trace each wire back to where it connects to before removal. Same procedure for the wires behind the seat which appear to enter the jeep via drain hole. Aftermarket stereo as @Billy1234 mentioned seems logical for the rats nest of wires.

Red one is definitely power for a amp and blue looks like the switch power for it also. Check the battery and behind the radio. The blue wire is prolly behind the radio the red goes to the battery.

    Converting to 91 4.0L 5-spd. Bought a wrecked 91 Saraha 65k miles.
I agree, sub woofer/amp wires under floor mat. Wires behind seat look like seat belt warning/buckled harness. Are they in the rear harness? If so, could be for the upper light-bar/speakers if you have em..... Look for pink wire, for light, and speaker wires, 4 of em, 5 total.

Thank you, All! We happen to have an intern in our shop who has a lot of work experience as a radio installer. Total confirmation and was able to identify the power supply line at the battery.8AB80834-5A56-42EF-B0F2-7ECF9E567F93.jpg
