I have a tree air freshener that's "black ice" scent. LOL
What's a good mod for a 2000 grand Cherokee 4.0 ? I don't ride trails much so I really don't need lift or a winch. I'd like to cheaply make it faster. I know those don't go hand and hand though. I've heard Cold air intake systems are a waste of money. I know they sound cool but I'd like to hear more opinions.

From what I have seen of the 4.0 cold air intakes they are pretty good. Have you considered a header for you engine? The 4.0 does have a history of cracking exhaust manifolds.

@Jim Beam How. much would a cheap manifold run ? I'm trying to either help my mpg or increase my balls. Preffereably the MPG. Ive heard plugs and possibly cold air intake any advice ?

Welcome @Thatsthespirit . As you mentioned. CAI are a waste of money. Unless you spend a shit load of cash to replace your cam, lifters, etc. Bacically....a new top end. CAI alone, will not help increase your balls.....ummm...sorry. MPGs.
The 4.0 inline 6 is one of Chrysler/Jeep best motors. And yes....they do have a history of cracking manifolds. But, I had a 2000 XJ, and I got lucky. It didn't crack. So, my advice. If It ain't broke...
So what are you looking to do? Daily driver to ????

I didn't expect the CAI to give me balls I meant better more MPGs. Let's be real its a 2000 blazer it's never going to be a " racecar". Unless I dump tons of money into a silly project in my opinion. Realistic I'd rather get the best mpg I can bc my last car got 30 mpg so I'm dying w this 16 town, 20 hwy. Will new plugs and CAI or just new air filter help ? Any other ideas ? Thanks
