Where to mount 2 DIN car stereo in YJ?

    Hey YJ group

    My Jeep is a YJ 88

    Looking to install a 2 Din Stereo,

    Anyone have ideas about where to mount,

    It is an Insane Audio product, so it has GPS on and off road built in,

    I would like to put it eye level..

    Welcome @AjeepA ....post some pics of that YJ. The mostly horizontal dash of the YJ only has room for a single din so cutting up the dash would be my last choice. Perhaps repurposing a floor console from another vehicle would provide the space for a double din radio and look custom once its all done.

    Eye level.....hummmm.....you didn't mention how tall you are. Eye level for me is the.....umm... the windshield. And im 6 ft. The dash would be a logical place to mount your system. So that would make you like 3 ft 4. :rofl:. If your a "small person". Then my apologies. :anonymous:.
