I have a stock 2014 Rubicon Unlimited. I was interested in the BF Goodrich KO2’s thinking to give me a better road ride (still have original stock mud terrain’s on it) but keep an aggressive look and do occasionally hit the trails but mostly used as my daily driver. Current Stock tires are 255 75 R17. Would like to get something wider but curious how wide can I go without lift or other modifications? Could I go as big as 275 70 R17? Also anyone have any concerns with the KO2’s? Thanks!

Hey @14Rubi . Welcome to the forum.
Most if not all 275s are approx. 10.5 inches wide. The width doesn't increase until you hit the 305s. Then your looking at approx. 12.5. The width increases with the tire size. But to answer your question. Yes. You can jump up to the 275s. But you will throw off your speedo readings. Youll be going faster than your speedometer reads. Hope this helps.

The BFG KO2 AT tires retain the aggressive tread and make for a better daily driver. 275s are approx 32.16" and should easily fit

Thanks for your feedback! How wide a tire do think I can go before I need to worry about spacers or other modifications?

33s should fit on the street but wheel spacers properly installed and maintained will address most rub issues.
