Hello, I joined the forum to make this post. If I break any rules I apologize and will fix what needs to be fixed.

My father bought this vehicle new in 1991 as his first while in high school in NJ (first picture is of him and my grandfather). He drag raced with it, took it with him when he moved to Texas, Deleware, then Kansas. He then traded it in in 1997 to a Ford dealer in Wichita because it was not a family car and he needed something more practical.
I am looking for my dads first Jeep. My main issue is that I have not been able to find anything with its VIN. I tried calling DMVs with old plate numbers and calling where it was originally sold to my father. He swears he last saw it in Texas when driving his 18 wheeler but wasnt able to try and track the guy down. The 91 Sport Truck had:
A built 4.0 (.030 over, crane cam, ported head)
    5spd 2wd
    Short bed
    Maroon interior
Engine was painted hemi orange with black wrinkle valve cover
Trans had a Centerforce sticker on the top of the bellhousing
Taz sticker under the hood, on the back window and hand painted on the fenders
    Tweeters by door handles
6-1/2" subs in door ( were pyramids)
Driving lights in front dam- aftermarket
    Centerforce clutch
    Shifter was cut short
    Black grill was painted white

Please message me if you have seen this truck and know where it is or if you are the current owner.

I have had ads on FB, CL, Letgo, and even Instagram up for a while, and have had a few people message me about sighting the truck in Elgin, Texas around 2006, and Lawton, Oklahoma in 2016-present. Given the traffic I have gotten and how people messaged me about the truck leads me to believe who ever owns it doesnt have social media, and that the truck is in the same relative state as to when my dad sold it. Thus why I joined this forum. Thank you for your time. 51018176_175375593440449_277147629656211_b9ef4f540b9f31079057fcab1396ee2d45eccbc5.jpg 51268271_175375590107116_573561115943685_641c20bb97188e1fb6738fa402ebd60ccb87e4bb.jpg 51308593_175374816773860_577495015217535_e8d86b27241da88dd07f167934b51de26cffc9c3.jpg 51099763_175374786773863_454654705406260_a9114477bba158f2c1dc8681d011f9c74e2ae844.jpg 51157332_175374773440531_551567221069552_6aedb9648a403dbe828c5a319dbb0bb2caac04f1.jpg

Welcome @Wile E. Coyote that's one fine Comanche. Anything is possible but the search could be challenging.

That's a good looking truck. Good luck in your search sir.

If you have a FB post that is public and you can post the link here I will share it around. I am in Oklahoma and a member of a number of Jeep groups.
