Hey @Offroad798 . I had mine mounted on the rear of the sport cage inside the Jeep. But since I added a fastback soft top. I had to take it out. Still trying to figure out where I want to put it. I'm thinking about a hood mount. But as we all know. If some one wants it. They will take it. So, I'm curious where you mount yours. I need ideas.

I've narrowed it down to the hood or above the rear tire. I'm trying to keep weight even for front and back and also accessibility if I need to use it. Bumper mounts were not a good choice because were they are located if I got stuck in mud might become an issue to get to. I've found these locks for the jack when it will be installed. To help keep honest people honest. I will only carry the jack when 4 wheeling. Got to keep that gas mileage up LOL. Since I have a poison spyder rock brawler rear bumper I might use their jack kit. Will need to do some mock fitting to see if I have any rear view out the back window left when installed. We have lots of trees and low shrubs here so the back looks better for mounting but not sure. That's why I will not go with the jack mount on the side of the drivers fender. JK sheet metal is thin and would not risk snagging it on rocks or shrubs. Will post pics when I get this done.

I think that's an better spot as opposed to the front fender. Clearance when opening the hardtop glass is my only concern. Lockable and accessible despite impacting some rear view. I like the horizontal bumper mount that not only looks functional but may deter tailgaters.

I like that Poison Spyder rear mount. But im with you @Offroad798. Looking to keep the weight evenly distributed and since I have a couple upgrades for the rear that adds weight, I'm lookin at a hood mount. But, afyer some research. I've found only the RR mount doesn't require you to move your washer nozzles. Hi Lifts and others recommend your purchase a relocation kit.
