Hey so my 2011 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo started doing this thing where when I accelerate from a almost dead stop and a decent rate the front end shakes for a few seconds but then goes away after that. Any clue on what it might be?

Welcome! Sort of early for bad motor/trans mounts but check them out or it's simply a wheel balance issue.

How many miles on the jeep? Is it full time 4wd? My first thought is that the Front axle CV joints (not positive, but they are CV joints right) are going out on you. This vibration on acceleration is a common occurrence when the CV joints start getting wear. They can last like this for years before they self destruct. My second thought is front and/or rear drive shaft may need to be rebuilt. Get under the jeep and see if there is any play at either end of both front and rear drive shafts. There should be know play.
