While trying to update my Uconnect Software, my USB stopped working

While trying to update my Uconnect Software, my USB stopped working. Now, the port will not even charge my iphone, and the cigarette lighter power port won't work. I inspected every fuse, and even swapped out the possible culprits. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

 

Welcome! Updates whether home PC or whatever can be frustrating at times. Some updates are suspect for affecting an older CPU. Might need a restart or a hard boot. Assuming the update is complete one option would be to disconnect the neg for a few minutes and see if thaclears the issue. If you're still under warranty the dealer might be able to reflash the system.

 

Unfortunately, I didn't even get around to updating the software because the USB died. I am going to the dealer to have them fix the issue, and then update the software. Thanks!!!
