Engine cuts off question

    2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Lorado
    I have a 2004 Jeep Cherokee Larado with the 4.0 liter straight 6 cylinder. It has been in storage for over a year due to illness. The radiator developed a leak and all the coolant drained out. I need to move it a short distance so I tried to start it. It starts right up but cuts out after about 4 or 5 seconds. It doesn’t sputter it just cuts right out. Does anyone know if there is a sensor that will cut engine off if no coolant is detected? I don’t want to spend the money to replace the radiator if there is something else wrong with it. Thanks. Ken

    first thought is SECURITY system (SKIM/SKIS) - is there a key symbol showing on instrument panel?
    Second thought - check for codes.

    87 Wrangler, kind of...
    5.7 V8 with Whipple Supercharger, TH350 w/B&M Shifter, NP205 TC, Dana 60 front 4.56, GM 14 bolt 10.5 rear 4.56, 4 wheel discs, Bilstein shocks, 6" lift on 37's, Autometer gauges, all led lighting and a few other things.
    Pretty sure that you do have a low coolant sensor, but I've never heard of a faulty or unplugged coolant sensor shutting down the engine but it can affect idle.
    Check for the stuff that @Awrench mentioned first.
