2018 Compass Headlights take forever to come on

    For about 4 months now my headlights have been acting very strange. When I turn the headlight switch on, 9 times out of 10, they take upwards of 5 minutes to come on. Sometimes up to 20 minutes for my passenger headlight. Both lights work great when they actually come on. Just makes no sense to me. I have a background in electrical. The fuses are good, it can't be the switch because they wouldn't come on at all if it was bad. Next on my list is to check all the ground connections but they are buried. Does anyone have any real input with this issue and perhaps have fixed this problem before?
