Hi I own a 97 Xj sport and as of late it has been bogging down on takeoffs and sometimes struggles to start.!these symptoms don't happen all the time but do occur often.

So far I have replaced my map sensor, tps sensor, my front 02 sensor on the front pipe, put a new exhaust on it, changed my plugs 6 months ago ( didn't change wires )

Also I'm running a straight pipe with no catalytic converter. My check engine light was on but ever since I put the new map sensor on my check engine light is now off.

Any ideas? Maybe bad fuel pump?

    Thanks in advance

Bad fuel pump? ...maybe. Check your fuel filter first.

Yup...in the tank. So, you may wish to do the filter and pump at once just to save time.

Can't guarantee I am correct about either though....

Maybe a new air filter too. Restricted air flow will cause a bog.
