Okay I have a 97 zj and the air has always blown out the defrost vents. I did find a break in the "T" coming from the firewall and taped it up well. that got the feet vents working but not the front vents. does it sound like I just need to buy a new hose or does the front vents have its own line I should trace?

This is usually a problem with the blend door. The actual part is easy to fix but it's a huge pain to get to, requiring removal of your dash.
