Welcome! Though there may be other issues occurring, the two mentioned are separate issues and the "flooded" engine should be a primary focus. The excess fuel may have fouled the spark plugs which can be addressed by cleaning or replacement. There may be a member that might be able to comment on the HVAC issue.

Thank you for some responses but the reason I mentioned the flooding is because my a/c and heater worked perfectly fine until the time of the engine flood I replaced my spark plugs and it has been running fine but we are getting into winter and I would like my heater to work properly again... the heating and a/c problem started only after this happened so that’s why I was thinking it had something to do with controls getting messed up or something like that

I think The Heater & A/C vents work off of vacuum check the line on the firewall look for a canister kind of looks like a plastic box with a line going in not sure if the 05 is similar to my 98 but the canister was under the battery tray and that is where the line was damaged hope this works. Now that I think about it electric controls

    Welcome to the forum offroadspider.
I see your in good hands with previous members posts. I was going to suggest a vacuum line issue. But its been suggested. Good luck and if you find the issue. Please post what you found. It may help another in the future.
