Hi I recently bought 2 yjs for kids
I had tj and now jkur.
Got the yjs because they were in decent shape and run good.
    Looking for general issues.
Does the 95 have a computer?

Computers began around 1980 in the CJ. The internet is loaded with stuff on the YJ.

YJ jeeps over 25 years old could have issues that are atypical. Common issues are usually rusty body parts or frame depending upon location and maintenance. 6cyl are preferred especially the better manual trans. YJs are old enough to probably need multiple system replacements but they are simpler machines that can be simpler to restore.

If I am not mistaken the YJ computer can be bypassed. As it only controls the ignition and fuel system. Providing the emissions systems are not required, this only applies to the carb equipped 258 six. The YJ has a galvanized frame as I recall.
